This was an incredibly difficult project that I undertook this year. The repairing and repainting of an old wood siding house over a 6 month period. My mother and aunt live in this duplex and the paint had become so bad it needed to be completely removed, which of course unmasked many hidden problems. In addition to the repairs on the wood siding and trim, there were a total of 22 broken panes of glass, between the house and the garage. Some of the breaks were only cracks or large chips, but we replaced every broken pane. The work was difficult but we were lucky to have use of the lift truck for the summer. The house looks great, and being repainted this way it should last 15 years before needing maintenance again.
