Pantone Postcards from Pandemic Purgatory

A collage series I did to keep myself sane. Each card is cut out printed material collaged onto a solid Pantone color (color codes in captions). Title is inspired by one of my favorite albums (Postcards from Purgatory – by Pleatherface). What did you do during lockdown?

More new photography

New gear = new photos. Working as an art reproduction photographer has really informed and influenced the photos I take on my own time. Here is a small sample ~

Astrophotography

Just getting started with this type of photography. It is very difficult as there are many factors working against you, the weather, the lack of light, the motion of the earth, biting insects, math, finding Polaris, the list goes on. Repairing and repainting an old wood house

Welding Sculpture – Dragonfly

My first foray into welding sculpture – A scrap metal dragonfly with 6 foot wingspan. Took me 2 days, most of the work was in the wings. I think it will look great up on the tree once it is all rusted.  I look forward to welding more, and possibly learning to weld metals other […]

Team Dogfighting: Air Combat USA

In September, my brother and I went on quite an adventure, when we got to fly a pair of SIAI Marchetti’s and shoot each other down over Boston Harbor courtesy of Air Combat USA. Check the video out, my brother added some sound effects, but the video is not special effects – we are flying. […]

Suicide Prevention

I would like to think that I did something good for someone else, but really it was an incredible experience that allowed me to learn more about myself. Just in the training […]

First Patented Invention

Filed a patent for the Dental Stain Eraser. Not my only invention, but the first one I have patented. Patents are expensive!
